It's a BOY

I'm still a little shocked.

I just knew it was going to be a little girl.

But I'm still very happy.

And starting to think about names.

And happy that I will be saving tons of money b/c I still have all of Peyton's stuff AND it is a lot easier to not go 'crazy' buying boy stuff verses girl stuff.

Loved seeing my 2nd little man on the screen for about 15 min!!!

Loved every minute of it...

Still on cloud nine and can't wait to meet this little one in January.

A little scared because I have no idea as to how I could possibly grasp the love that I will feel for ANOTHER child.

But excited for this journey we are taking together.

Big Day Tomorrow

Tomorrow is the BIG ultrasound.

So of course that means that I can't seem to get to sleep tonight.

Imagine that.

So I decided to blog some of the feelings I have about the sex of the baby.

Girl - well, obviously we have a little boy, so a girl would be nice.  I would LOVE to shop for all the girl things, pick out adorable shoes and outfits, with matching hair bows.  I would enjoy doing all the mother-daughter type stuff, and it would be nice to have one of each.

Boy - Peyton is such a sweet little boy, and I would LOVE another little boy.  Growing up, I always said I wanted boys.  It actually wasn't until I became aunt to two amazing little girls did the want for a little girl to ever cross my mind.  And we have everything a little boy would ever need/want.  Toys, clothes, more toys, more clothes, etc.

I know that whatever God has blessed us with will be perfect.

So, for my gender determination/guess: Girl.  Why???  Because this pregnancy has been so completely opposite from my last.  I had morning sickness for weeks and weeks, and I have had horrible migraines for weeks and week (they stopped when I was pg with Peyton).  Everything is also starting earlier this time, don't know if it is b/c of the baby or b/c the fact that this is my 2nd pregnancy, but the heart burn, back aches, etc have already started.

Hopefully by this time tomorrow I will know what my little baby is, and maybe even have a name for him/her.  (We have names for a boy, girl, not so much).

Migraine central

I cannot believe o have been fighting the same nagging headache / migraine for over a week now! This pregnancy oils turning out so different fro
The last one. I pray this let's up and that I don't fight daily migraines or bad headaches for the whole pregnancy.

On a positive note: I cooked dinner today.
Negative: I didn't get the things I wanted to accomplish over the weekend done. Didn't SHED the laundry room, put up the desk in the dining room or go to church today.

I've been in bed most of the weekend, sigh.

Here's to a better week next week.

Time to SHED

I've been reading this book:

http://www.amazon.com/SHED-Your-Stuff-Change-Life/dp/0743250907/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1279671783&sr=8-4SHED Your Stuff, Change Your Life: A Four-Step Guide to Getting Unstuck

Hoping that it helps me get this house in order before this baby comes.  I have a few areas that I'm going to tackle first...and I hope to share this process on the blog.  I feel overwhelmed by all the 'stuff' that we have accumulated, that we don't really 'need' or even use.  Need to start moving rooms around to make room for baby, but so much stuff is in the way that the process is going to be difficult if I don't get it under control.

I've read about 1/2 of the book.  Time to start taking action...

I've gotten to S. and H. - Sort and Heave...will sort and  heave before moving on to the next step.  Creating 'rules' for each of the areas before getting started...will share those here as I go.

But I have had a migraine for about 2 days straight now.  Hope it is gone for good, feeling ok right now, just weak from all the resting/sleeping/benadryl.

July Already???

Ok, well I guess June pretty much flew buy without me capturing much here on the good ole blog.  So maybe I should summarize???

- Peyton took Swimming lessons and is now swimming like a little fish.  Well, not quite like a fish, but he can swim and he really HATES the swimmies.  So bad that he cries the whole time they are on b/c he can't touch the bottom.

- We got our fence finally...

- VBS at church - I taught the Kindergarten class (no picture yet)

- Can see more of the fence peeking out of the side in these pictures, but also can see our nicely trimmed bushes/hedges around our house.  Eric does such a GREAT job with the yard work, I think we have one of the best looking yards in the neighborhood :)

- Still loving the pool.  Not loving the fact that one little boy wants to go swimming EVERY single day, but we are adjusting.

- Took down my corner desk (which is for sale by the way) to start getting ready for the babies room.  Corner desk is currently in about 10 pieces in my foyer. Ready to get it sold or OUT of my house.

- My garden did GREAT this year.  Apparently I forgot to take pictures of it in June though, this is a picture from May.  Those plants and flowers are HUGE now.  It looks so much prettier in this picture actually :).  With the morning sickness and overall tiredness from the baby, the garden got way out of control, and I gave Eric the go ahead to cut down about 2/3's of the garden, leaving only the tomatoes and flowers.  I just couldn't keep up with it this year.  Not sure if I will do it next year with a newborn, but I do love it and I know it will be a part of my lifestyle for a long time.
