The boys had a blast.  We did end up getting an elf this year. Everyone seemed to have one and Peyton kept talking about the elf.  Santa sent us Christopher Pop-InKins late in the season and we only had him for about a week or so, but he was a BLAST while we had him.

Isn’t he cute???  We miss him already.  He really was a lot of fun.  Looking forward to his arrival next Thanksgiving. 

Ryan is soooo adorable.  He got some good Christmas loot.

10 Months

November Blog Challenge Day 6, November 6th, is Ryan’s 10 month birthday!  He is growing so fast! 

Right now, he is cruising and pulling up really good.  Eating lots of solid foods.  Has 2 bottom teeth and 3 just now breaking through on the top.  Is starting to stand on his own sometimes.  Loves playing with Peyton more than anything.  Sucks his thumb.  Sleeps in his crib for all naps and bed.  Is overall a very happy baby. 

He is adorable. And loves to cuddle with mommy!!!  He really is a good baby!  Now if we could just get him to sleep 10 hours a night every night I would be in hog heaven.

And how did I get blessed with two adorable BLUE eyed boys???  Gosh they are cuties.  

Ryan is a chunkier baby than Peyton was, so his clothes are a little snug and I’m running out of winter clothes that fit because Peyton was in 12m clothes and then moved to 18m for summer, so I have no winter 18m and Ryan can not fit in anything under 12m right now.  But he is just soooooooo kissable!!!!

Well off to bed.  Hope to have a wonderful short holiday week.  We will see how that goes.  :)

Trying to get back to normal

This week I went back to work.  It has been a rough week.  I look forward to the weekend even more than normal.  I'm completely exhausted and in bed by around 8ish nightly, and waking up in the morning is nearly impossible.  Ryan still isn't sleeping all that great, so that means I'm not sleeping all that great either.  

 

It has been almost 2 months since Ryan was born, and I feel like I'm not capturing these memories like I want to.  I'm trying, but honestly, I barely have time to do the bare necessities to keep this house running, much less anything extra.  I would really like to make it a point to start blogging again.  And as I write this, I think about how this is the 3rd time I've sat down to write this blog post in the last 4 days and wonder if this is possible.  But I really would like to get better at it...

 

So - last week I went back to work (from the beginning of this post).  This week is going better.  Ryan is sleeping a little bit better but he still has much room for improvement.  I've been sleeping in his room with him (we put a bed in his room) so we don't bother Eric or Peyton in the middle of the night.  Once he is only getting up once a night I will probably start sleeping in my room again and have him in his room across the house.  Then eventually we will hopefully have Peyton sleeping in his room too and all will be good.  :)
