5 DAYS

Yes, in 5 Days we will be AT THE BEACH!

I wanted to write a post about this week, but as I sit here nothing really seems all that blog worthy.

Worked in the garden a few days this week, trying to figure out what didn't float away in last weeks near flood.

It is time to move my plants that I started from seed from their 'plat' to some bigger cups.  And I need to plant some brocolli.

Going to a wedding shower today for a cousin that just got married in January (she didn't have a 'wedding') so we are doing the shower now.  I got her a crock pot.  Out of all the things I got for our wedding, that is probably the one thing we use the most...the crock pot.

Eric is going to go see Papa while we go to the shower.  Papa is in the hospital again.  He went back to the nursing home for a whole 3 hours before they sent him back.  It is sad.

Eric finished this quarter at school.  He is half way through with his EMT coursework.  I'm so proud of him.  And he is doing great at his new job.  I'm so glad that he likes it.

Yet another super boring blog post.

Shopping

*NOTE: Typed on the iPod, so typing is a little sketchy*

We have had a productive Saturday! Two weekends in a row, we are on a roll! Cleaned out the gArage, did some laundry, bought some parts for the truck, dropped it off at the mechNics house, went shopping for Eric some new pants, went out to eat and even had two visits from family.

We went to see papa yesterday and it wAs sad. He can't talk at all, and was in and out of conciousness rhe whole time. We sang hymns to him, since that is one thing he has always loved. We don't expect him to make it much longer , and he is ready to get to heaven and be with grandma.

Then when we got back it was storming really really bad, we had a river flowing across our back yard and down the driveway. It is kinda scary how bad the waterflow is, makes me worried about flooding.

Then it wAs time to go to scrapbooking. I'm in such a funk!!! I only got 2 layouts done, it is like I just stare and don't know what to do. Sigh.

Tomorrow is another weigh in for my fist place class, and another week is gone that I didn't lose ant weight. Sadness !!! I'm going to just give up for the rest of this term, then start over fresh again. I don't think I have done a very good job leading this class, I hope it is better next quarter!!!!

Another week

Well, I'm not pregnant.  And I got in a pretty bad funk on Sunday - wasn't exactly upset when I found out, but as the day went on I could sense something 'building' and by the afternoon I was an emotional mess.  After a good cry I was back to normal again.

Monday we lost power at work for like 3+ hrs, so that was pretty exciting for the morning.

Met a friend at the park with her daughter Monday for a play date after work.  Ate dinner with Eric before he went to school.

Wednesday - didn't make it the whole day at work, a short stomach bug or something similar hit me hard and it was NOT fun.

Today my stomach still isn't back to normal - but I've been fighting a migraine today and I just want to go to bed.

Peyton has been doing a great job at school, getting better at the potty, but his teacher said something today about his picky eating.  She said he won't eat hardly anything at school.  I might have to start taking in a few of the foods he will eat.  I can't believe this is what I'm having to deal with.  How did I, "MRS EATS EVERYTHING" end up with a kid that won't eat hardly anything?  I'm sure it is my fault. Hopefully he will outgrow it.

Supposed to scrapbook tomorrow night.  And I've got NOTHING ready.  Nothing!  And I think I'm going to have to take Peyton with me.  He did good last time, but this time we won't be in the gym, so I'm not sure how well he will do.

Eric's papa is in the hospital again.  The 3rd time in the last month or so.  He is getting near the end, and his kidney's are starting to fail.  I'm going to take off some tomorrow so that I can go see him.  Right now they have a ban on all kids under the age of 18 going to the hospitals due to the swine flu, so I pretty much have to go when someone can watch Peyton, so it makes sense to go while he is still at daycare.

14 days until the beach!  Two weeks from tomorrow we will be there.  Oh I can't wait.

I wish I was a better writer. This blog is so boring.  Sorry.

A boy and a kitchen

Wanted to get this down before I forgot.

Aunt Emily and the girls gave us their 'play kitchen'.

Eric did NOT want a kitchen for Peyton.

I did.

Eric gave in.

I told him it would help his imagination!!!

Peyton said:

'I want an imagurnation'

Haha too funny.

So she gives it to me Friday.

Peyton immediately starts playing with it.

What is the first thing he says?

He grabs a spatula and bowl and says:

"I can dig in the yard with this"

Which made his dad so proud!!!

Still all boy, 100%, even with the play kitchen.

Spring is getting closer

As spring and sunny weather are peaking through the cold on some days this week, I'm getting that 'I want be outside constantly' feeling.  Work is just pure torcher!  I wanna be OUTSIDE, and working in the garden, organizing the garage, spring cleaning, etc.

And after the trip to IKEA I have lots of ideas on how I want to change things...and lots of wondering exactly what we will decide to do once I finally get pregnant.  Because it IS going to happen!!!

Eric is on the ambulance today.

Celese is going to have a little BOY!  This blew me away.  I just knew it was going to be a girl.  I'm even having a hard time wrapping my head around her having a little boy.

Tomorrow I'm going to get my garden started for the season.

Will know if I'm pregnant this month within the next 4 days or so.  I'm getting better at this waiting game (unfortunately).  I really don't think this is the month, but we will see.

Had a wonderful Ladies Night Out at church last night.  I think we had a lot of fun.  I picked out a few games for us to play, and I think it went smashing...

And 19 Days until our vacation.  NINETEEN DAYS.  Oh I can't wait.

Today we:

Woke up around 8

I played on the computer, cleaned the living room and kitchen, moped the living room and kitchen, went to a consignment sale (where I bought a few things for Peyton AND one thing for the baby that we will hopefully have soon), worked/played in the yard, cleared out two smaller flower beds in the back, and pulled a ton of weeds on the side of the house, ate lunch, had a 15 min or so nap, and now I'm making a crumb cake and about to cook dinner after I finish blogging!

Scary Wednesday

Grandma Stella went to church with me this Wednesday.  She can't see very well at all.  Well we were walking through the church parking lot and she didn't see the speed bump and fell really hard.  She knew her finger was broke and I was going to take her to the ER, but he neck and jaw were hurting really bad (she pretty much hit face first) and the paramedic that goes to our church said we needed to call an ambulance.  It was so scary.  I nearly passed out!  But she is ok, she did break her hand, and she is black and blue all over her face and arms, but she is OK!

She handled it all very well.  I think I was more scared and shaking than she was!  I felt so guilty.  I should have been paying closer attention, but you forget these things, and we were just in the WRONG place in the parking lot at the wrong time.  If we would have parked anywhere else, it would have been ok.  Sigh.

She now has a bright blue cast on her arm.  Her color choices were neon colors - orange, pink, blue and green.  She thought the blue would be the best color for her.
